What's different here
These are 15cm across and only 3cm deep — closer to a saucer than a bowl. The sides flare outward at a shallow angle rather than rising vertically, so there's nothing for whiskers to catch on.
The stand raises and tilts them about 15 degrees toward her, so she isn't craning down. And it's weighted, so they stay put instead of sliding across the tiles while she eats.

Questions
Will a shallow dish hold enough water?
Yes for a day, but shallow water evaporates and warms faster. If she drinks a lot, a fountain solves the volume problem and the freshness problem at once — these then handle food.
Why stainless steel and not plastic?
Plastic scratches, and the scratches trap bacteria. Some cats also develop chin acne from plastic bowls. Steel doesn't have either problem.
My cat is fine with her current bowl. Do I need this?
Probably not. If she eats calmly and finishes without pulling food out, whisker contact isn't bothering her.
Will it suit a dog?
A small one, yes. Anything above about 10kg will find them too small.
